It inflated perfectly and the animation works great. The inside features a penguin, snowman, elf, and Santa riding reindeer.
It self inflates, but like all carousels, it takes a while (5-10 minutes) to inflate. It lights up with c7 lights, I checked to make sure all of them were working, and they all are. Cosmetically, there are several stains/marks on the white parts, particularly near the bottom.
You can see the worst of these in pictures #9 and #10. They could likely be washed out, but I havent tried. I checked the entire thing for holes but did not see any.
And there are obviously none that are big enough to effect the operation, because it works great, and I was rather thorough checking for any. There is a bit of a smoke smell to it. It doesnt seem very strong, though, and I would imagine that having it outside for a season would clear that up completely. There is a bit of fraying on one of the tethers in the back. That can be seen in picture #11. One of the clips on the motor broke, so we reattached it with a zip tie. The original box is included, and is in fair shape.
Two of the sides are very faded, two of the sides seem fine. You will also receive all 12 stakes, the set up guide, the instruction booklet, and a replacement light bulb.
