This is used but cared for over many years. Winter weather is rough and we have developed a few openings at the seams on the clear plastic. This is quite common with these units, and is easily repaired with clear tape as shown in the photo. There is also a very small rough spot/opening in the back (that you can't see) about the size of a quarter that I repaired with tape.
Plenty of snow inside this thing! Some of it does tend to stick to the plastic but that is also common, and just needs to be tapped or slapped off time to time. I also suggest spraying some anti-static spray into the globe to help. Motor runs great, fills up fully! I have upgraded most of the bulbs to brighter LED bulbs for years of maintenance free winter excitement.
We are getting a new set of lawn decorations next year so time to let this one move on to the next family.
