Vintage Whispering SANTA CLAUS 46 Christmas Gifts Lighted Blow Mold Yard Decor
Vintage Poloron "Whispering Santa Claus" 40 Lighted blow mold yard decor. I have owned this one for only a couple seasons, but it's probably from the 1960s-1970s.
My neighbors had one years ago, I always wanted one, found one that I displayed outside like they did but then wanted a second to enjoy inside next to my fireplace, of course! This one came with the original metal backing where you'd put the light in, but not the light fixture itself. That wasn't disclosed to me when I bought it, darn it.
I put together this lighting fixture with a new 3d-printed backing plate GNK collectables, if you ever need one, look'em up, no I'm not related, LOL! It worked fine inside for a year or two, but then I found the California gem as mentioned.
This one is in pretty good shape, not perfect, some paint loss / fading, as you'd expect from most things this age. Small crack on his right pinky, see pix. My pix should show it's condition, but please ask any questions.
I have the box I got my mint one in safely from Cali just for that reason. I would bag this, put it in the box, and stuff with crumpled newspaper / other lightweight cushioning material and label the outside FRAGILE as many times as I could. Please look at the condition, and the non-original light fixture. I would include both the original metal back plate, and the 3d-printed one for you.
